basic steps to get started:

1. Complete the 'Articles of Organization' forms.

Find the necessary ‘Articles of Organization’ depending on your state, and submit them. Remember you can also apply online.

2. Choose a registered agent,

This will be the point of contact of your LLC. It can be you or someone else. This will be the individual designated to receive notices, legal correspondence, government notifications, tax forms or notice of lawsuits.

3. Mail the form along with the mandatory State Filing Fee to your state’s Secretary of State Office.

Make sure the fees are added and you follow the instructions on how to pay them.

4. Get an EIN by filling out the form and mailing it to the IRS.

This will be like your social security number for your organization. This step can also be done online.
